[i wish i could post a playlist that actually played... what's the fun in a list?]
quite a narrow feel, sort of poppy and jangly and funny and good harmonies and instrumental touches, as inspired by a friend's band which i would have you go see if i could..
oh i was a little disappointed yesterday when my new Delays' album "You see colours" arrived (my first cd postal order) - i thought it would be a nice gatefold, but that was vinyl only.. well, it starts off magnificently, but fizzles out a bit. the second track, current single "Valentine" is absolutely storming (had only heard it once before), but the standout track. maybe it's a grower, i shall perservere.. oh but "Valentine" is so good - all manic beats and insane falsetto on pop overdrive...
